An Egyptian dentist who works as a writer and linguistic reviewer for a number of Arab magazines. He is interested in the fields of medicine, history and culture and has a number of distinguished articles in these fields. He works as a treasurer for the Arab Journal of Human and Educational Studies and Research, and is also the Vice President of the African-Asian Federation for Vocational and Technical Training. He is interested in developing nursing curricula and training programs for dental assistants and has contributed to developing the curricula for these programs. Dr. Islam El-Minshawy also participated in translating and rewriting some books from English, the most famous of which is (The Arab Encyclopedia of Cats), which relied in most of its chapters on foreign references, so he contributed to the translation, rewriting and linguistic revision.
